Hi!

Thank you so much for visiting my site! I know visiting a new stylist can be intimidating, so here’s a bit more about me and my journey as a stylist….

I started my  hairdressing career right after high school and became licensed in 2008. I had no passion for anything I was learning in school, choosing electives that let me leave early and learn business. I knew I needed a career that I could be creative in!

I graduated from Federico Beauty Institute and worked at my first salon as an assistant to learn real world advanced skills from the pros before taking on my own clients. I discovered pretty early on that my passion lied in hair color and with the help of my mentors became an American Board Certified HairColorist. The many months it took me to study for that test were harder than anything I learned in beauty school and really helped me start my career confident to take on any color challenge!

Beyond my training, I love hearing each unique story from my clients. I feel like I am able to take each guests life experience they share with me as a lesson in my own life. I pride myself in making each woman feel comfortable, listened to, and valued at every appointment. Each woman who sits in my chair has chosen that time to care of themselves and that is something to be celebrated!

I love to recreate sunkissed color, mimicking how the sun lightens hair naturally.  My favorite transformation is to give a client a look shes been longing for but hasn’t had the courage to try. I strongly believe in shooting for your dreams and if that dream is to have purple hair at 60 or to finally do the pixie cut, I’ll be right there to help make that happen! My natural positive perspective allows me to easily encourage clients to embrace changes in their hairstyle.

I am beyond thankful for my career choice, as it has allowed me to build my family by creating my own hours. When I’m not behind the chair, you’ll find me taking my 2 boys to their sporting events, working on our backyard urban farm of my dreams, spending time outdoors hiking or cooking (I have a knack for making healthy food taste phenomenal).
